About Us

My name is Kim and I've been dong hair since 2019.  I've always loved doing hair and makeup, but it wasn't until my I had my boys that my career path changed.  I believe your time is very important and I wanted to be able to give any free time to my boys and family with the ability to manage my schedule.  I absolutely love this industry and honestly it doesn't feel like work.

 

Over the years I've noticed the effort and time our society takes into appearance.  Being in this industry our job is to help others look and feel their best.  I will agree look good, feel good.  However, I also want you to know your true value and where it comes from!  1 Peter 3:3

This year 2022 I lost my Grandma Jessie, who was like a mother to me.  Originally I had thoughts to name this company something completely different, but after her passing I decided that I wanted her to be apart of it. She was truly the definiton of beauty.  Not only by appearance, but inward beauty!  She was one of eleven and had to quit school by 8th grade.  Since she was one of the oldest children she helped out with raising her siblings.  Her love for us and others was evident and it was felt in everything she did.  She was a hard worker and there for whoever needed her.  She was strong and selfless, yet meek and always positive. Three or four days after her passing I was   thinking about her, her life and the name Mae, (her middle name) came to mind.  Since "Mane" is the growth of long hair, I thought changing the spelling to "MAYNE" was the perfect name.
